![]() ![]() I just read the review from 6 months ago who said this was too complex. Unfortunately i want to embed the fonts and may need to use Word which does not play nice with SVG files. Had about 300 art boards open at one time for about 150 characters. ![]() This was because the font making program was not easy to use but could import SVG files for the fonts. I just custom made two fonts (two versions of two fonts) over the past two weeks. The ability to have multiple art boards open is a huge benefit over Inkscape. I just found this app about 2 months ago and love it. I highly recommend Vectornator for beginners and education - it’s user-friendly enough for the classroom, but advanced enough to get great-looking results. ![]() I know I’m going on and on, but truly - it has been a wonderful teaching experience. I have used the app for a school logo I was asked to create, and I was extremely pleased with the results. But most of all, I think they’re having fun! This is the most fun teaching I’ve had in a while too. They are totally engaged for the entire class period. The students can do so much with the app, and get really professional-looking results. Vectornator is simply amazing! It has succeeded far beyond what I hoped for. Since I am not a professional designer, I was worried about finding a program that I could learn in order to teach, and that the students would really enjoy creating with while they learned. We were very lucky to get access to a small class set of Microsoft Pencils and iPads. I am using Vectornator to teach basic graphic design to a small high school class. ![]()
